Woof’n Rose Winery is owned and operated by Stephen and Marilyn Kahle on a north-facing hillside in the Ramona Valley AVA, producing 300-350 cases annually from estate grapes. They specialize in Cabernet Franc and classic Bordeaux varietals including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Carmenere, Grenache Noir, Alicante Bouschet, and Montepulciano, with blends reflecting these grapes. Tastings occur on an outdoor veranda overlooking the vineyards, with direct interaction with the owner-grower-winemakers.
2020 vintage wines released in May 2024. Expect to release 2021 and partial 2022 wines in November 2025, along with a new Bordeaux style German Crystal tasting glass. Closed SuperBowl Sunday 2/8/26. Last site update: 1/30/2026.
