Sol Rouge is a family estate vineyard and winery in the Red Hills Appellation of Lake County, CA, at elevations over 1800 feet with rich red volcanic soil. The 70-acre hillside vineyard is densely planted (up to 6000 vines per hectare) with Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Counoise, Cinsault, Petite Syrah, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc.
