Mountain Ranch Winery is a boutique winery in Grass Valley, CA, established in 2003 by winemaker Bob Hoffman, producing limited-production, high-quality wines from old vines, often less than 200 cases per varietal. Specializing in blends like the flagship Icarus from century-old Zinfandel and Carignane, they emphasize a fun, welcoming experience with tastings, events, pottery by Lisa Hoffman, and a vibrant wine club. They recently planted their own vineyard with Barbera, Sangiovese, and Petite Verdot.
