Whalebone Vineyard is the Robert and Janalyn Simpson family business located in Adelaide, California, in the Santa Lucia Mountain Range west of Paso Robles. Established in 1989 on 128 acres, they grow Cabernet Sauvignon grapes in their renowned vineyard and produce wines in their Whalebone Tasting Barn, leveraging a unique terroir of coastal climate, limestone and calcareous soils with fossilized seashells, and rocky south-facing hillsides—named after whalebones unearthed during planting. They offer Cabernet Sauvignons, cult favorite BOB WINE Cab blend, Zinfandel, Rosé, and Red Rhône blends.
