El Gaucho Winery brings a taste of Argentina to the Texas Hill Country, offering fine Argentine wines in a scenic hillside setting overlooking the Lake Travis area in Spicewood, TX. Owner Bennett, inspired by Mendoza vineyards he purchased after a 2006 trip, opened the winery in 2015 with imported Argentine decor like cowhide chairs and hand-woven rugs. Guests enjoy wine tasting flights paired with Argentine eats from the Patio Steakhouse Grill, relaxing on the patio.
