Steltzner Vineyards was founded in 1964 by Richard Steltzner in the Stags Leap District of Napa Valley, originally converting a prune ranch to plant Cabernet Sauvignon after being inspired by neighbor Nathan Fay. The estate supplied grapes for iconic wines like the 1972 Clos Du Val Cabernet in the Judgment of Paris and Joseph Phelps' Insignia. Over 50 years later, the family produces vibrant, terroir-driven estate wines shaped by the local soil, climate, and culture.
