About
Bill and Kathy Jenkins have been making small-lot wines at Wing Canyon Vineyard on Mt. Veeder for over 30 years, sourcing grapes primarily from their steeply sloped, dry-farmed ridge vineyard. The estate-grown wines include Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, LOLITA Merlot, and Syrah, featuring rich, concentrated flavors of dark red fruit, Mount Veeder chaparral, spice, and firm tannins. The winery is nestled in a redwood grove, accessible via a rough 4WD road.

What They Make
2019 Cabernet Sauvignon
Ruby-garnet color with aromas of violets, dark berries, mountain bramble, star anise, black currants. Flavors of dark fruit, cranberry, licorice, fennel, spices, vanilla, supple tannins. Blended with small amounts of Cabernet Franc and Merlot.
2018 Estate Cabernet Franc
Deep purple-red with aromas of dark sweet fruit, cherries, mulberries, violets, rose petals. Flavors of apple, blackberry, candied citrus, cinnamon, cloves, mountain herbs, licorice, vanilla, well-structured tannins.
