About
Carmelo Vineyards is nestled within the historic grounds of Rancho Carmelo in Carmel Valley, California, originally a 1920s dude ranch turned vineyard in the 1980s. The Albanese family took ownership in the early 2000s, focusing on Pinot Noir and Syrah grown in rocky, nutrient-rich soil influenced by Salinas Valley warmth and Pacific breezes. They craft exceptional wines with dedication to sustainability, innovation, and community while preserving the site's rich heritage.
