Tranquillity Vineyard & Winery is a historic winery located on Lake Quassapaug in Middlebury, CT, on 45 acres of the original 300-acre J.H. Whittemore estate, with 17 acres planted in 16,000 vines of seven varieties (three red, four white). Handcrafted wines are produced under Head Winemaker Frank Renaldi, who brings over 25 years of experience from renowned regions. Special for its year-round cozy indoor tasting room, scenic views, event spaces, and 2025 partnership with owner Paul Vigario.
