Winterset Cidery is Iowa's first cidery, located adjacent to its apple orchard with over 30 varieties of heirloom, cider, and dessert apple trees, producing hard apple cider from Midwest-grown apple juice. Recently purchased by the Findlay Family in February 2025, it features a spacious, informal tasting room with vaulted ceilings and an outdoor deck overlooking the orchard and countryside. The cidery emphasizes family-friendly experiences and local cider traditions, with a season opening planned for April 9-12, 2026.
