Sleeping Dog Wines is a small, intimate winery founded in 2002 by Larry and Joyce Oates, located overlooking the Yakima River in Benton City, WA. They craft red wines from Buoy Vineyard grapes, aged in stainless steel tanks with judicious oak to emphasize fruit, and release them after 5+ years of bottle aging for optimal maturity. The winery features a playful dog theme, symbolized by 'The Nose Knows' logo and resident dogs Phoebe and Rosie.
