Yellowhammer Brewing opened in West Huntsville in 2010 by four founders aiming to bring traditional beer to Alabama, expanding in 2015 to a larger facility at Campus 805 with more brewing space, a private Bierhall, and a distillery. They specialize in premium ales and lagers drawing from Belgian and German brewing traditions with a Southern interpretation. Known statewide for award-winning craft beers, spirits, and wines, their taproom features 20+ beers on tap alongside a wood-fired pizzeria.
