Oak House Distillery, founded in 2020 by UGA scientists, is Athens' first legal distillery since the 1860s, located in a historic 1864 home. They craft award-winning botanical gins, Jamaican-style rums, and organic vodka. The site features a speakeasy lounge, two acres of outdoor space under ancient oaks, distillery tours, classes, and event hosting.
