Prairie State Winery was established in 1998 by former high school teachers Rick and Maria Mamoser in Genoa, Illinois. They craft high-quality wines and distill Barrel Proof Brandy, Apple Brandy, and Gin, along with handcrafted cocktails. Known for the friendliest tasting room staff, they have won 3 Best of Shows, 3 Governor's Cups, and numerous medals.
